Well, this is a belated newspost.

FoolishWorks finally has a purpose! The minecraft server run by Starayo, which is perfect in every way and the kind of server that other server admins dream bittersweet dreams of when they lay their heads down to go to sleep after a hard day’s work of not running Starayo’s server, has been opened on an invitational basis! Hurrah!

Features for now include buildable boats and airships, nerfed creepers (until mobs are less laggy, anyway), a mail system, and, well, that’s about it really. A temporary map is being used with item summoning turned on until mobs and survival multiplayer as a whole is stable enough to run a permanent map with none of this fancy summoning.

Until then, TNT FOR ALL!

It’s what, only the nineteenth time I’ve launched the FoolishWorks.com main page? Still cause for celebration. Because this time it looks extra nifty. That’s right, you fellows of questionable parentage, the theme almost matches the forum theme! Can I get a hell yeah? No? Well, OK then.

Don’t sign up yet, though! I’ll be looking into integrating wordpress and phpbb in such a way that your forum account will allow you to login to the blog! Hurrah! Thanks Starayo, what a useful tool that will surely be, but get off your ass and do it already! Wow, what an ungrateful bunch.

As we embark on our latest incarnation of the site’s torrid history of main page launches, let us join in praise to the great Jonathon, not to mention Hank, as we stride forward into a better tomorrow!
